About the Fabric: The Cotton-Flax Blend

Consciously crafted from cotton-flax, a premium natural textile that marries the best physical traits of two incredible plant fibers: the softness of the cotton plant and the structural integrity of the flax plant (which yields linen).

Rather than relying on synthetic additives, this natural blend compensates for each fiber's inherent shortcomings, creating a fabric that feels both luxurious and beautifully raw.

Why We Love It:

 The Authentic Texture of Linen: The flax introduces a distinct, earthy surface texture. You will notice beautiful, intentional irregularities in the weave known as "slubs" (tiny, raised nodules along the yarn). This gives the garment a rich, organic character and exceptional breathability.

 The Immediate Softness of Cotton: While 100% pure linen can feel stiff or abrasive before extensive washing, blending it with cotton instantly relaxes the weave. It provides an immediate pliable drape and feels gentle against the skin from the very first wear.

 Relaxed, Lived-In Drape: Pure linen is famous for creasing sharply due to the rigid structure of flax. The addition of cotton significantly reduces this tendency. Instead of hard, brittle wrinkles, this fabric settles into a soft, fluid, and relaxed ripple that is much easier to care for.

 Climate Adaptive & Durable: Both cotton and flax are highly porous and moisture-wicking. This open, breathable weave dissipates heat perfectly in warm weather, while the inherent strength of the flax fibers ensures the garment withstands the test of time, growing softer with every wash.

Note: Because this is an unbleached, highly textured natural fiber, minor variations in the weave and the hand-block print are not flaws—they are the authentic signatures of artisan craftsmanship.

Wash and Care Instructions

First Wash: Hand wash separately in cold water with a pinch of sea salt to set the natural pigments.

Routine Care: Gentle hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water using a pH-neutral detergent. Do not bleach.

Drying: Line dry in the shade to protect the unbleached fibers and earth-toned prints from sun fading. Do not tumble dry.

Ironing: Warm iron on the reverse side while slightly damp to smooth deep creases while preserving the natural, lived-in texture.

Conditions for Exchanges: 

•  The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with tags attached.   

•  Proof of purchase, such as the original receipt or order confirmation, is required for all exchanges.
